Iain MacLeod
MSc BA FErgS Eur Erg AFBPsS CPsychol CITP MBCS Iain MacLeod has been involved in the Operational, Safety, and Ergonomic Assessment of Systems for over 40 years. He is a Fellow of the Ergonomics Society, a Registered European Ergonomist, a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Information Technology Professional, and a Chartered Occupational Psychologist. Iain's experience in Ergonomics includes functional, mission, task, workload, and training needs analyses within air, land, space, sea, and industrial domains. These forms of analyses have been performed considering organisational, physical, and cognitive affects on work. In addition, Iain's Ergonomics expertise has been gained through work involvement spanning Concept to In-service Phases of the engineering life-cycle. He has also conducted several bodies of research related to the use of new technologies within complex human-machine systems. Thus, much of Iain's experience has been involved with the assessment of team work and human control within systems. Iain was heavily involved in human factors assessments as part of the Merlin helicopter programme and the development of the tactical computer system for the Nimrod Maritime Patrol Aircraft. |
